Our team was struggling to keep pace with a constant influx of customer data and ongoing updates from our parcel carriers. The project had become increasingly complex, resulting in scope creep, repeated restarts, and difficulty maintaining focus on our long-term objectives.

Ultimately, we implemented a much faster zone-skipping model leveraging our existing two-distribution-center network. Jon also introduced us to a diversified final-mile carrier strategy that expanded our capacity well beyond the limits of our incumbent provider. As a result, we gained the flexibility to manage service levels and costs by region while avoiding the burden of long-term carrier commitments and seasonal capacity limitations.
